In order to strengthen the collaborative coupling between the building materials industry and the construction industry, better help to achieve green and low-carbon development, and jointly promote the realization of the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutral, the building materials and construction collaborative carbon peak seminar hosted by China Construction Science and Technology Press was held in the form of video on March 15.

      At the meeting, the representative members of the National "Two Sessions" of the building materials and construction industry, some key industry associations and enterprise representatives focused on the theme of building materials and construction to achieve carbon peak, exchanged the first quarter's operation, the progress made by the industry and enterprises in carbon emission reduction and the main difficulties, discussed the building materials and construction sector to promote carbon peak, building materials use structure adjustment to promote comprehensive carbon emission reduction and other aspects.

      Comrades in charge of the Department of Raw Materials Industry of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, the Department of Standards and Quota of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, and the Information Center of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council attended the meeting and exchanged ideas.
