Back in 2010, Shandong Dongyue Building Materials Machinery Co., Ltd. — the predecessor of today’s Dongyue Machinery — signed a contract with a Vietnamese building materials company to export its first aerated concrete (ALC) production line. It was Vietnam’s very first ALC line, and also Dongyue’s first time selling complete equipment abroad.

At that time, the domestic ALC equipment industry was just taking off. Dongyue’s team handled everything from design to installation, spending nearly a year on the project. The Vietnamese client was initially hesitant and sent people to Linyi to inspect the factory and test the equipment. Dongyue won them over with solid technology and on-site service.

The line ran smoothly. The client placed repeat orders. That’s how Dongyue took its first step into the overseas ALC equipment market. Years later, when old staff talk about going global, they still mention Vietnam.
